Suspended Solid Systems

The Royce Model 7011A Suspended Solids Analyzer provides reliable, continueous operation in waste treatment plants, rivers, lakes and other aqueous systems. A user friendly text screen provides menu driven setup and operation in easy to understand language. The instrument will read in either milligrams per liter or percentage of solides and is auto-ranging. With features that include insitu calibration, automatic color compensation (Patent Pending), true microprocessor operation and automatic ambient light compensation (Patent Pending) the Model 7011A has set the standard for measuring suspended solids

The Model 7011A has standard outputs that include 4 to 20 miliamp or 0 to 1 volt, RS-485 serial communication port, and two programable setpoint relays. Both the 4 to 20 and the RS-485 outputs are isolated. The 4 to 20 mas and 0 to 1V are scaled by the end user. The RS-485 output also provides for surge protection against power variations or electrical storms. The setpoint relays can be independently configured as either a high or low setpoint and can be utilized for direct control or for alarming. Self-cleaning frequency of sensor optical surfaces are user programmable from the instrument keypad in order to adapt to the customer's requirements

SRT Control Systems
Royce Technologies is pleased to present the new Model 7700 SRT (Sludge Retention Time) Control System. The System is designed as a complete package which will accurately and reliably control the wasting process in activated sludge wastewater treatment plants in a manner that optimizes SRT. The Model 7700 System has proven, in actual field installations, to stabilize the operation of the biological nutrient removal process. It has provided a 10% to 15% reduction in MLSS concentrations without a negative impact on ammonia removal. Low F/M bulking in clarifiers and the elimination of foam on both aeration basins and clarifiers has been reported.
The Model 7700 is a complete monitoring and control package which includes two complete insitu solids density analyzers, a portable solids calibration meter, and a unique and rugged process controller that provides a smart and friendly user-interface. The Model 7700 continuously monitors the concentration of solids in the aeration train, the concentration of activated sludge (in the return path), and waste sludge flow. This information is processed to control the flow of waste sludge in a variety of selectable strategies to provide continuous optimized control of SRT.
Features:
  • Automatic analyzer ranging
  • Electronic self-diagnostics
  • NEMA 4X (IP65) enclosure
  • Back-light display available
  • Simple to use insitu calibration
  • Phased array light source for
  • automatic color compensation (Model 73B)
