OIL DISCHARGE MONITORING FOR TANKERS (DOME)
COMPUTER UNIT
Mounted in the CCR, this unit receives signals from the speed log, flow meters and oil content monitor and displays the current system status and discharge data. All operator functions are accessed via the front keypad for setting up the system initially and for manual inputs where these are allowed by IMO.

Weight : 17 kg Dimensions : 500 x 300 x 210 mm
MONITOR
The OCD 10M comes with a local display enabling system parameters to be monitored by engine room personnel and service crews. Additionally, the whole system can be run locally from this point making for intelligent fault diagnostics should a problem occur. Capable of monitoring 6 discharge points, the monitor is programmed with 9 different oil types and 7 annex II type chemicals.

Weight : 16 kg Dimensions : 400 x 500 x 215 mm
PUMP
A single 380/440v 3ph two stage pump maintains sample homogenisation and ensures accurate and repeatable results. No adjustments are required by the crew and maintenance is reduced to checking the oil reservoir.

Weight : 67 kg Dimensions : 870 x 425 x 500 mm
MEASURING CELL
This sends light signals generated by the oily sample water back via fibre optics to the OCD 10M Monitor for processing. It incorporates a pneumatically operated cleaning piston which is controlled automatically by the monitor to keep the cell in optimum condition.
